Your Luxury Traditional Safari Lodge is located on the banks of the seasonal Monwana River under sprawling African trees in the picturesque Thornybush Private Game Reserve in Greater Kruger Park, South Africa.
The lodge is easily accessible by road and the scenic drive from Johannesburg only takes about 5 hours.
How To Get There
By Road
From Johannesburg, take the N4 to Witbank. Bypass Middelburg and turn left off the N4 to Belfast. Proceed to Dullstroom and Lyndenburg. Take the R36 to Orighstad and Strijdom Tunnel. Travel on the R531/R527 through the Hoedspruit junction. Turn right toward Klaserie. After 6 kilometres (3.7 miles) turn left into Argyle Road and follow the Thornybush signboards to Thornybush Game Reserve, South Africa.
By Air
Thornybush boasts its own airstrip. This airstrip is 1.2 kilometres (0.74 miles) long and is tarred. It's best to take a private or scheduled charter.
