This Family-Friendly Safari Lodge in Thornybush Private Game Reserve in Greater Kruger Park, has superb Big Five game viewing and safari activities for all ages. From one of the game viewing decks you can watch wildlife at the waterhole or enjoy the amazing views that stretch for miles. General facilities include a pool, spa, library, boma (outdoor enclosure) and a curio shop.
Family Suites can accommodate a child but for those wanting a bit more space the Family Villa has a spacious living area connected to 2 bedrooms with an interleading children's bedroom so the little one's are always nearby. The Villa also comes with a private pool, personal chef, game vehicle, guide and tracker.
Children on Safari
Children of all ages are welcome at this family friendly safari lodge. Children under the age of 6 are not permitted on safaris or walks, but there are specially suited game drives for children.
Children will receive complimentary children's pack on arrival. Meal requirements and venues are provided if required by parents. Rat packs (cool drinks, cookies) are sent with them on game drives. Drives and activities can be tailored to suit the children's interests and attention span.
